It just got a lot harder to keep up with the Joneses in Manhattan’s “Billionaire’s Row.” A record-breaking $100 million luxury residence was purchased on Dec.23.

The buyer, whose identity has not been revealed, dished out more than $100 million ($100,471,452.77 to be exact) for a two-level duplex penthouse in skyscraper One57 in Midtown Manhattan. The purchase is the highest price paid for a residence in New York City. The unit, no. 90, spans the 89th and 90th floors and is sure to offer breath-taking views of Central Park.
